For the very first time, it is possible for this kind of tooling to complete a conductor and insulation crimp in one single step with the greatest possible precision.

Up to now, four indent pliers were only able to crimp the conductor, neglecting the insulation.

The tool performs an 8-indent crimp on the conductor and a hex crimp (24/18 AWG) resp. a bihex crimp (16/14/12 AWG) on the insulation in one move. To connect turned pin or socket contacts with flexible aluminium cables.

The "RW380-24/22" is designed to crimp both wire sizes 24 and 22 AWG without the need to change the crimp settings.

The "RW 380" for 20/18 AWG and 16/14 AWG were developed as multi-gauge tools, here the particular wire size can be crimped by setting the prescribed values for the selected size.

The "RW380-12" is a pure mono-gauge tool, only applicable for 12 AWG.

To prevent errors, the crimp settings for the actual wire size are marked acc. to AWG colour coding based on regulation ABS 1380/1381. Consistently concentric crimps assured by 4 synchronously driven indenters for the electrical connection.

The advanced system inside the tool cares for a coordinated sequence of conductor and insulation crimp. Full cycle ratchet mechanism with emergency release for reliable crimping.

An instruction sheet informs on the locator position to be selected. Periodic gauging of the setting values with respective GO-NO-GO pin gauges is recommended to ensure an accurate calibration. Tool body in matt chrome finish, provided with plastic boots. Delivery optionally in a portable plastic case or carton box.
